1. Your Right to Cancel
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (which implement EU Directive 2011/83/EU), you have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 calendar days of delivery. This applies to all orders placed with Renew Vita, regardless of your reason for cancellation.
2. Cancellation Deadline
The cancellation period begins on the day you receive your package. You must notify us of your intention to cancel before or on the 14th calendar day after delivery.

3. Condition of Returned Products
Unopened, sealed products: Full refund is issued without question.
Opened or used products: For food supplements (sealed capsules in unopened packaging), once the outer packaging is opened, the product may not be re-sold due to hygiene and safety regulations. Therefore, opened products are not eligible for refund.
We will use our discretion on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us if you have concerns.
4. Return Shipping Process
Once you notify us of cancellation:
- We will provide you with a return label and return address
- Pack the item securely and include a copy of your order confirmation
- Ship the return to the address provided (you cover return shipping costs, unless the cancellation was due to our error)
- Once we receive and inspect the return, we will process your refund
5. Refund Timeline
Refunds are processed within 14 calendar days of us receiving and inspecting your returned item. In practice, you should see the refund appear in your original payment method (e.g., your bank account, if paying by card) within 3-5 working days after we process it.
6. Refund Method
Refunds are issued to the original payment method. If you paid the courier in cash, refunds are issued by bank transfer or cheque (which you should contact us to arrange).
7. Non-Refundable Scenarios
The following are NOT eligible for refund:
- Products that have been opened or used (food supplement hygiene regulations)
- Packages that show signs of tampering or damage due to customer mishandling
- Returns submitted after the 14-day deadline (unless we made an error)
- Orders cancelled due to customer error (e.g., wrong address provided by you)
8. Defective Products
If you receive a defective or damaged product (damage caused by courier, contents missing, product fault), contact us immediately. We will arrange a replacement shipment or full refund at no cost to you. This is handled outside the standard return process and does not require you to pay for return shipping.
9. Cancellation Before Delivery
If you wish to cancel before your order is dispatched, contact us immediately. We will cancel the order at no charge. Once the package is with the courier, cancellation may still be possible but may incur costs, depending on the courier's policy.
10. Exceptions to the Right to Cancel
The right to cancel does not apply to:
- Custom or made-to-order products (though we do not currently offer these)
- Perishable goods that have deteriorated (food supplements are shelf-stable but must be stored correctly)
11. Food Supplement Hygiene Note
Because Renew Vita is a food supplement (ingestible product), once the outer packaging is opened, we cannot resell it due to contamination risk and food safety regulations (UK Food Standards Agency and EU regulations). We appreciate your understanding of this restriction.
